It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old or whether you’re craving something savory or sweet, healthy or indulgent, there’s plenty of food and drinks for everybody. So bring your appetite, your thirst and stretchy pants if you’ve got’em. Bring your taste buds to MetLife Stadium anytime from June 20-July 7 and tell them it’s time to party!

“As much as I enjoy the planning of State Fair Meadowlands, one of the parts I love working on the most is our food and drinks,” State Fair Meadowlands Vice President Al Dorso Jr. said. “It blows me away how our food and drinks are even more popular than our shows and attractions. We always make sure that there’s a delicious variety of comfort and healthy food and drinks. So bring your need to feed. You won’t be disappointed!”

So let’s get down to it. There are foodies, and there are Fairgoers. Which one are you? Don’t worry! All palates are welcome and regardless of which one you are, you will be able to devour a tasty gastronomical adventure that’s right for you. For example, if you’re hankering for something fried, we got you covered with plenty of comfort food goodness ranging from fried bacon cheese balls, chicken parm balls and taco balls to fried mac and cheese, fried oatmeal crème, deep fried peanut butter and jelly, fried Oreos and so much more. For those who are achin’ for some bacon, there’s no need to whine because we have plenty of swine! We have bacon wrapped meatballs, sausage, corn dogs, chocolate and of course the signature bacon on a stick! And if anyone in your family is a surf person, they will find a bounty of seafood options including beer battered fish, clam strips, conch fritters, crab cakes, fried calamari and more.

For those seeking a more cultural meal, foodies will revel in the Fair’s wide variety of freshly made Greek (e.g. gyros, shish-kabobs, souvlaki) as well as Italian (e.g. stromboli, pizza, pasta, chicken parm) and Mexican dishes (e.g. Mexican bowls). Anybody with a ravenous sweet tooth will quell their insatiable craving by dining on the Fair’s overflowing lineup of desserts including funnel cake, smoothies, maple candy, rolled ice cream, Dole whips, caramel apples, Icees and the best soft serve ice cream in the state! And healthy eaters…we bet you think we forgot about you. There’s no need to fear as you will find a delicious selection of fresh vegetables (e.g. avocado, broccoli, cauliflower), Italian and Greek salads too. And let’s not forget ice cold refreshments!
