State Fair Meadowlands Unveils Summer Concert Series

Daily Concerts Join Blockbuster Roster of Family-Friendly, Free Entertainment 

Highlights of the acts include:

  • Canvas (June 22-25), influenced by Bluegrass Folk, Rock, and Hip Hop, this band offers a fusion of sounds with original songs and covers ranging from Santana to Enrique Iglesias. 
  • Rising star with roots in gospel music, Parker Phillips (June 26-30) has performed on stages across the country, including the world-famous Apollo Theatre, where he recently won Amateur Night in early April 2023. His debut single is “Runnin,” and his newest single “WADE” is streaming on all major platforms. 
  • Over the July 4th Holiday, Monte Ibel(July 1-4) will be performing.  A multi-instrumentalist inspired by the likes of Prince and Deangelo, he has an eclectic sound, while fusing modern pop with soul sounds of the 70’s.
  • Closing out the concert series is singer/songwriter Jason Guzman featuring Axel (July 5-9). 2Guzman has played venues such as The Bitter End, and The Knitting Factory, and can be found regularly entertaining crowds throughout New York City. In addition to original tunes, he performs a wide range of covers from Maroon 5 to Mariah Carey and Los Lobos.

JULY 3rd & 4th SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS SHOWS AT STATE FAIR MEADOWLANDS

 Internationally Acclaimed Garden State Fireworks Returns with Another Dazzling Fireworks Show

East Rutherford, NJ, June 29, 2023 – The State Fair Meadowlands & Garden State Fireworks present a world-class fireworks display July 3rd and 4th. Award-winning pyrotechnic company Garden State Fireworks will be producing the show. Garden State has set off fireworks extravaganzas all over the world with credits including the July 4th show at the National Mall in Washington D.C., Presidential Inaugurations, Walt Disney World, Super Bowl XVLIII, Calgary Winter Olympics and the World Fireworks Championship, Monte Carlo, Monaco, to name just a few.

Free with admission, the fireworks are easily visible throughout the fairgrounds. So, sit back and rest assured you’ll have a great view. Each night, enjoy the choreographed display of pyrotechnics set to moving patriotic and popular tunes. Watch in awe at the wondrous shapes to the American flag in literal blazing glory. Don’t miss the ear-popping grand finale!

The fairgrounds will also feature hundreds of heart-pounding rides and attractions for all ages including the largest Kiddie Land in New Jersey. Spread over 35 acres, State Fair Meadowlands will be open on weeknights from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., Fridays from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m.-1 a.m., and Sundays from 2 p.m.- 12 a.m. Parking is free every day of the Fair.
