State Fair Meadowlands Free Concerts

Music Performance Schedule Also Features an Eclectic Slate of Local Music Artists That Perform Various Forms of Rock, Popular Music, Jazz, Soul and Country

East Rutherford, NJ – It’s showtime! State Fair Meadowlands, New Jersey’s mecca for fun, is announcing this year’s long-awaited music lineup. Taking place at MetLife Stadium from June 21-July 8, 2018, all attending fairgoers will be able to enjoy the Fair’s concerts for free with Fair Admission.

Cousin Brucie headlines the Fair’s music festivities with his sixth annual Palisades Park Reunion presented by SiriusXM. On Saturday, June 23 from 7pm-10pm, this extravaganza of classic oldies and live performances from artists who entertained audiences at Palisade Amusement Park in the 1960s will be broadcast live air on SiriusXM’s 60 on 6 channel. Scheduled to appear at this year’s reunion include the following:

  • Very Special Guest: Freddy “Boom Boom” Cannon (Palisades Park)
  • The Dovells (You Can’t Sit Down)
  • Barbara Harris of The Toys (A Lover’s Concerto)
  • Lenny Dell and The Demensions (Over the Rainbow)
  • The Fifth Estate (Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is Dead)
  • Special Appearance by The Midtown Men (featuring stars from the original cast of Broadway’s Jersey Boys)

The Palisades Park Reunion is a cornerstone event for us and his passionately loyal audience is almost as much of a spectacle as his show is,” State Fair Vice President Al Dorso Jr. said. “Best of all, everyone in attendance gets to enjoy our robust lineup of local music bands and performers for free, reinforcing our commitment to provide affordable summer entertainment.”

Along with Cousin Brucie, State Fair Meadowlands will feature concerts from the area’s best bands and performers. This year’s artists include (njfair.com/free-concerts):

  • J20 (rock), June 22, 8 & 10pm
  • PD Brody (pop and blues), June 24, 8 & 10pm
  • From the Concrete (alternative rock), June 25, 6:30 & 9pm
  • Loungeztica (jazz), June 27, 6:30 & 9PM
  • Whiskey Crossing, (country blues) June 29, 8 & 10pm
  • Thunderstruck (classic rock), June 30, 8 & 10pm
  • Jake Tavill (soul), July 1, 8 & 10pm
  • Fish Eyed Blues (classic rock), July 2, 6:30 & 9pm


State Fair Meadowlands will be open on weeknights from 6pm to 12am, Fridays from 6pm to 1am, Saturdays from 2pm-1am and Sundays from 2pm-12am. Parking costs $5 and tickets can be purchased at the MetLife Stadium Box Office located at the MetLife Main Gate. Unlimited Ride Hand Stamps are available every night, except Friday, June 22. Plus parking is free Monday through Wednesday except on July 3rd and 4th.

Delectable gastronomical adventures from the most delicious food and beverages from vendors around the country await everyone at State Fair Meadowlands. Whether people are craving something decadently delicious (e.g. countless bacon inspired dishes and anything fried!), refreshing (e.g. freshly squeezed lemonade and Italian Ices) or even healthy (e.g. Greek and Italian salads) there’s something for everyone! 

Plus there is more FREE entertainment and attractions than ever before this year including: Cycle Circus Live — the largest FMX freestyle entertainment show of its kind in the world today — as well as Extreme Illusions & Escapes Show, Sea Lion Splash, Steve Bayner Hypnotist Show, Belmont Festival of Magic Show, the beloved Racing Pigs, Arctic Olympic Games High Dive Show and Educational Petting Zoo.

The Fairgrounds will also feature hundreds of heart-pounding, captivating rides and attractions for all ages. These include the largest Kiddy Land in New Jersey, one the most famous helicopters of all time: N3079G, the original Batcopter from the 1960s Batman TV series and Batman movie as well as the area’s only Sky Ride. Fairgoers can wander throughout the midway and experience a wide variety of attractions ranging from having their face painted or posing for a cartoon caricature to checking out numerous shopping spots boasting jewelry, spa relaxation accessories, sunglasses, body art, LED apparel, clothing for all ages and that’s the tip of the iceberg.
