Riff is a R&B/Pop vocal group from Paterson, New Jersey, formed while its members Michael Best, Steven Capers Jr., Anthony Fuller, Dwayne Jones and Kenny Kelly were teenagers attending Paterson’s Eastside High School.
The ensemble began under the name The Playboys in the late 1980s, with a style strongly influenced by doo wop.
After their memorable performance of the school song, “Fair Eastside” in the 1989 film Lean on Me (which is based upon events occurring at Eastside High), the group changed its name to Riff and signed to SBK Records, releasing a self-titled album in 1991. The group scored several respectable hits, including three in the Billboard Hot 100. Riff also landed songs on the White Men Can’t Jump and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtracks.
Following the success of the album, the group appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show, The Tonight Show and Soul Train (just to name a few), and opened on tour for Vanilla Ice and LL Cool J.
The group’s second album, To Whom It May Concern, was releriffsounds93 and had two charting singles on the R&B charts.
Collectively, the members of Riff decided to take a break from the music industry after the release of their second album to spend time with their families, as they transitioned into manhood.
In 2009, Michael Best, Steven Capers Jr., Anthony Fuller and Dwayne Jones reunited as Riff, sans Kenny Kelly, who decided that he wanted to pursue other interests this time around. The four members began their journey back into the music world, creating new music as they continued to perfect their craft.
In 2011, Riff decided that something was missing, so they reached out to their longtime friend, Delvis Damon to join them on their musical journey. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer who has worked with well-known R&B artists such as Guy, Jaheim and Donnell Jones. Delvis has definitely proved to be the missing piece of the puzzle Riff was looking for.
Since then, Riff has been back on stage performing for the masses and has had the distinct honor of being the opening act for the legendary, Cyndi Lauper on her “She’s So Unusual” tour in the summer of 2013.
Currently, Riff is putting the finishing touches on their third album, “25”, which is scheduled for release in Fall.

Bubba Grouch is an original hard rock band fusing blues and pop influences with an occasional slight southern twang. Hailing from northern NJ, this supergroup of seasoned local musicians released their debut album Tin Whiskers in July of 2013 to rave reviews from radio stations and publications across the tri-state area. The band spent two years supporting their groundbreaking release by performing at a host of great venues across NY, NJ and PA, including a stop at last years’ State Fair Meadowlands.
Early this year Bubba Grouch released a new single Ragamuffin, followed by two soft releases of new songs available for streaming only to fans who belong to the Bubba Grouch mailing list ( sign up at Bubbagrouch.com ). The band has been busy in the studio putting the final touches on their much anticipated sophomore CD to be released later this year!
Diverse and unique music featuring robust and rousing vocals, guitars delivering greasy riffs and soaring melodic solos, bass laying down a strong gutty undertow, all built on a foundation of rock solid drums pounding meaty beats. The hooks from song to song are every bit as thick and deep digging as they ought to be. You can move and groove while enjoying the band’s skillful balance of musicianship and message. A great live show not to be missed, and completely approachable – after the show members of Bubba Grouch always make themselves available to the crowd for pictures and autographs.

His name, MANNY CABO, has torn up the stages across America with his vocal and front man status opening up for bands like, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down, Stained, Godhead, COLD , and even starred on the hit NBC TV Show “The Voice.”
When asked, “why do you enjoy what you do and remain so consistently passionate and humble especially toward your fans?” his simple rebuttal was “In this industry, that I so feverishly work in, will eat you up and spit you out… you always have to figure it out or you will fade away! Granted, one can learn technique, but you cannot teach passion because it is born inside of you and when you’re
born an underdog since day one, then it’s impossible not to adopt a sense of persistence,
intensity, fear and above all passion to survive. By no stretch of the imagination am I the
best at anything I do, but one thing is for certain, I will always strive to improve, learn, assist
and be the best artist that I can be and hopefully inspire other artists to do the same. I
am truly grateful for all the opportunities that have been afforded to me throughout the
years but the truth is nothing was ever handed to me and working diligently to achieve my
dreams is all I’ve ever known and I’m okay with it. With great risks come great rewards
and passion is the fuel that has always superseded my doubts. I love creating new art, as
evidenced in my work Art is what I love and know so doing anything else would be

Devon has four loves in life – her family, her animals, helping others, and singing. As a young girl growing up on a farm, Devon’s love and caring for others has been the driving force behind her passion for rescuing animals, taking part in community activities, and developing her career as a singer.
Devon’s other passions include equestrian jumping and riding, for which she has won numerous trophies and blue ribbons, though her life is not a need to compete; it is a need to help others, through singing, learning, and sharing her natural gifts and talents.
Devon has her music favorites and role models, those that personify an ability to “tell a story” in their lives and in their music. She admires and aspires to give back to the music industry in the likes of Jennifer Nettles, Taylor Swift, Reba, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks and Rascal Flatts. To Devon, music is not just notes on a page or words on paper. Each and every song has a life, a meaning, and a feeling that are extensions of what happens to us in our own lives. Her voice resonates strong emotion and passion when she sings, a raw talent for a girl who has never had voice lessons. Devon’s true love and passion for country music lives on in her desire for her music and singing to tell its own story and impact the lives of her fans.Devon lives by the following saying: “Your future is always ahead of you, but the secret is to never try and catch it — just let it take you where it takes you and enjoy the journey.” Devon knows the secret, and country music and its fans will all benefit from this part of her journey.”Devon has had some incredible opportunities in her young career this year. She recently just concluded recording her EP in Nashville at the HOUSE OF BLUES studio D and says it was one of the best experiences of her life. “The studio has such an aura about it. I felt lucky to be in the same room that Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin have graced let alone having my brand new EP recorded there! I can not wait for everyone to sing along to it just like I have been for the past month! I’ve worked with incredible and immensely talented individuals on these 5 songs and cant wait to see what the future has in store for my new music!”

PLAID BRIXX is an indie pop/rock band from New Albany, Ohio. The band was formed in 2013 by Chris Duggan, frontman, songwriter and lead guitarist. Duggan, who penned and produced all the songs, has been writing and leading bands since he was ten. The other performers are Mark LeRose on drums and Jared Sawaya on bass.
Described as pop with a razor’s edge of rock and an aftershave of punk, their debut EP, ‘Chemistry’, was nominated as one of the Best Rock EPs of 2014 by the Annual Independent Music Awards. Duggan penned and produced all five songs on the album. Plaid Brixx just released ‘The Greener Side’, the first single from their new EP of the same name. The balance of the EP will be released in late Spring 2016.
Plaid Brixx has performed at numerous event and festivals including CMJ in NYC, SXSW and MusikFest (Bethlehem, PA). BUZZFEED had this to say about them at CMJ:
“There are 1,200 bands playing in every venue NYC has to offer […] and I’ve picked 37 that have me the most excited” – as featured in BUZZFEED: CMJ A-Z: 37 Bands You Need To See
Plaid Brixx will be touring throughout the summer. More information is available at Plaidbrixx.com.

For brothers Dan and Nate Monea, their time is meant to be spent doing what they love – writing, recording and performing music. “Even though Nate was just 13 and I was 16 when we played our first show, I knew music would be our life”, says Dan. That passion was affirmed in 2012, when this childhood trio from Cleveland, Ohio were selected to open for Bruce Springsteen to perform in front of 60,000 fans during Hard Rock Calling’s summer music festival in London’s Hyde Park.
